Is Flow Possible in Science Class?


New teachers are often surprised at how rarely their students are willing to engage in daily activities. Though we often hear about how important it is for students to become "lifelong learners," it is hard to reconcile this image with what we see everyday in classrooms. Can teachers design classroom experiences that truly engage students? What does this even mean?
